Banksy Sale Ends is a Banksy print that is full of Humour. The image shows black-and-white stenciled figures that resemble women in Biblical scenes from 16th and 17th-century paintings. What they kneel in front of, however, is no Biblical savior — it is a bright red sign that reads, in urgent white letters, “Sale Ends Today.” The urban art screenprint mocks the culture of consumerism that has grown to a near-holy status in so many developed societies.
