British born, brooklyn based photographer Phil knott has been producing images for well over 15 years. Rich in content and creativity, Phil presents a style that is, beautiful, soulful and honest in its capacity to extract what is raw from his subjects.
Knott has invented a niche for himself, attracting a wide range of clients including Paramount Pictures, Stussy, Versace Sport and Fragrance, Sony records, RCA, Atlantic, Universal, EMI, Steve Madden, Hennessy, Afro-Punk and 81 magazine, 5 years ago Phil started to work in collage and has produced work for brands such as Stussy, Bathing Ape, Roc-a-Fella, The Face, Spin, Hot Hot Heat album covers, Complex, and Flaunt.
His personal works, looks at youth street culture from skateboarders to BMX bikes.
Phil has curated an art magazine titled Tally Ho which he owns and started. Tally Ho has gone from being hand distributed to being distributed nationwide in the US.
On September 13 2016 – the day before what would have been, Amy’s birthday – the gallery unveiled for the first time, a collection of beautiful shots of the fresh-faced young star by Phil Knott in the early Noughties, as she took her first steps into the limelight.
