About This Work

In **_Doggett Fabric of Youth_**, Drew distils the emotional texture of adolescence into a visually charged contemporary composition. Working with a tactile, fabric-like surface quality—suggesting layered pigment, glazing, and patterned mark-making—the artist builds an image that reads as both portrait and social document.

Drew’s approach bridges figurative tradition with a post-digital sensibility, where identity is assembled, edited, and performed.

At once intimate and culturally alert, **_Doggett Fabric of Youth_** speaks to youth as a lived condition—shaped by community, consumption, and resilience—positioning the work firmly within current conversations in contemporary art.
