Pietro Sanna is an Italian contemporary artist and ceramicist, born in Sassari, Sardinia, and now based in York, England.
Originally trained in painting and collage, his practice shifted in 2014 during a degree in Contemporary 3D Craft at York College, where he began experimenting with ceramics as a core medium. Today he is best known for hand-built clay vessels that serve as storytelling mediums, treating form, texture and materiality as carriers of narrative rather than functional objects.
