About This Work
In *Jul Sketches Series V*, Alex distils the immediacy of drawing into a poised contemporary statement, where rapid notation and deliberate restraint sit in productive tension. Working with a sketch-led methodology, the artist privileges line, rhythm and negative space, allowing incidental marks to remain visible as evidence of process. The result reads as both intimate and architectural: a study of perception in real time.
