About This Work

In *Wild Spirits*, Sebastian Magnani advances his distinctive photographic practice, using meticulously staged portraiture and high-gloss post-production to blur the boundary between human identity and animal archetype. With cinematic lighting, crisp detail, and a controlled, near-sculptural palette, Magnani constructs a contemporary tableau that reads as both fashion image and conceptual artwork. The work’s hybrid figure operates as a cultural mirror—probing how we project character, desire, and power onto the natural world, and how those projections return to shape self-image in the age of branding and social media.
