Ian Rusth Artist, Harbour View, Rusht is self-taught. He has tried his hand at his own style. Frames made of old door linings are another characteristic feature of his art.
The image motifs are outdoor cafes, small shops and the classic whitewashed houses that testify to a French influence. There is also inspiration from a fantasy world where there are many elements and symbols. Some are recurring like the sheet metal heart and the sign for one-way traffic. There are many animal motifs in the pictures and Ian Rusth says that he has been fascinated by circuses since childhood. Always look for a red dog.
He is collected all over the world.
