Elton John performing in the now famous Bob Mackie sequinned baseball outfit at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles, October 1975. Known for his pageantry and precision on the keys, John saw his most commercially successful period in the 1970s during which he released several hit albums with the help of his musical partner and lyricist Bernie Taupin.
